As Thanksgiving approaches I like to count the many things in my life I am thankful for. Working at Haus Interior is on the top of the list. I love coming to work everyday, and I know I am lucky to be able to say that!
Part of my job is finding products for the store. Here at Haus we especially like to feature work by artists and small companies. It is so rewarding to have relationships with the people who make and produce what we sell. I am proud of what we carry and sell at the store, and love sharing that pride with our customers.
One of the newest vendors we are working with is Farmhouse Pottery. Zoe Zilian makes the pottery in her studio in Woodstock, Vermont. She calls the surrounding farms and New England countryside her inspiration. This is evident in her unique combination of a milky white glaze and the natural color and texture of the clay.
I will be decorating my Thanksgiving table with the Cocoon Vases filled with in season flowers this year! (And enjoying a baked brie served on the gorgeous cheese stone!)
